Emerald ash borers linked to disease

A recent study by The American Journal of Preventative Medicine is suggesting a possible link between emerald ash borers and illness in people. The research points to an increase in mortality related to cardiovascular and lower respiratory-tract illness in counties infested with the tree-dwelling insect.
