ClubLink Purchases Popular 430ClubLink Enterprises Ltd., a large Canadian owner/operator of golf courses has added another club to its portfolio with the acquisition of Hidden Lake Golf Club in Burlington, Ont.

The 36-hole course will continue to be operated as a daily-fee facility with membership programs.

“Hidden Lake Golf Club has a long history of not only hosting many professional and amateur events over the years, but also of providing an outstanding experience to the public golfer in the western Greater Toronto Area,” ClubLink president and CEO Rai Sahi told Golf News Now.

The course originally opened in 1962 as an 18-hole course called Lake Medad Golf and Country Club. In 1979, it was sold to a local consortium led by George Tidd and Terry Parker who at the time renamed the course and expanded it to include two championship courses covering approximately 2 km2 (500 acres) of Niagara escarpment land.
