At this year’s Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) Fall Field Day, Chris Dew, superintendent at The National Golf Club of Canada in Woodbridge, Ont., played a five-over-par round of 75 at Muskoka Lakes Golf and Country Club, winning him the title of 2014 CGSA Fall Field Day Champion.

Approximately 112 golfers competed in the tournament, and Jamie Camalucci from the Timberwolf Golf Club in Garson, Ont., was the low net champion with a net score of 62. Winners of the nine-hole, better ball event at The Rock Golf Course in Minnett, Ont., on Sept. 22 included low gross winners R.J. Cloutier, superintendent at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alta., and his playing partner Christian Pilon. The low net winners were Barrie Carpenter from Alberta’s Oak Creek Golf and Turf and Dean Morrison, superintendent at the Calgary Golf and Country Club.

The 2015 CGSA Fall Field Day will be hosted by R. J. Cloutier from Sept. 20 to 22 at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and the Fairmont Jasper Park Golf Club in Jasper, Alta.
