The 2015 Ontario Golf Course Management (OGCM) Conference and Trade Show is set to take place Jan. 28-30 in Niagara Falls, Ont., and is quickly approaching.

Attendees can take part in educational seminars, walk the exhibit floor, as well as participate in the OGSA membership meeting. Keynote speaker Pat Jones, publisher and editorial director of Golf Course Industry and Lawn & Landscape Magazine, will discuss how business is changing during the buffet lunch. On opening night, attendees can head to Planet Hollywood and buy tickets to see the Aaron Garner Band.

Some of the seminar topics include:

  • Putting Green Rootzone Management by Adam Moeller, Agronomist, USGA;
  • Culturally Promoting Bentgrass in Fairways by Chris Tritabaugh, superintendent at Hazeltine National Golf Club;
  • Winter Protection Procedure by Rob Ackermann, superintendent at Weston Golf and Country Club; and
  • Estimating Turfgrass Nutrient Use by Dr. Micah Woods, PhD, chief scientist at the Asian Turfgrass Center.
